Using birdd

Your community’s birdd node records observations as signed events and can share them with other community nodes. Start with Trust, federation, and audiences to understand where observations can travel and what the system’s trust and privacy guarantees mean.

birdd currently has three supported interfaces:

1. Signal - record and query observations through a bot in a Signal group
2. Grist - browse observations and make bulk additions or corrections in a spreadsheet-like editor
3. Command-line interface - create and query observations directly on a birdd node
